2 x 6 Pressure Treated Joist Framing System Was The Standard.
The Upright Posts & Supports were .40 Grade
(In The Ground Use) Pressure Treated 4 x 4 Inch Stock.
These Post Go Through The Frame And Are One Solid Piece
You Could Literally, Drive A
Small Truck On These Decks,
However I don't Recommend This
It Would Probably Leave
Unsightly Tire Marks On The Beautiful Decking.
