I also worked for about 9 monthsrefurbishing the Cleopatra,
docked at Bradford Marine.
This is an186 foot steel hull yacht,
(originally built in the Netherlands).
We did everything from bright work
to bulkhead painting and cleaning,
to replacing porthole windows
and refurbishing sea cocks as well
as all the prep work
to outfit her with new diesel engines.
It was a blast and I learned so much from that experience.

I also worked on refurbishing
a 1969 Offshore Power Racer,
out of Broward Marine,
but I haven't found any recent shots of her.

If I recall, the owner sold her to some
fellow in Europe after we got her finished.
I also moonlighted and performed
various marine rigging projects with a friend.
We sub-contracted all over Broward,
Dade and Palm Beach counties.
Installing Tuna towers, marine radios/electronics
and stereo systems, were our specialty.
